Mark Rivers Elected Secretary/Treasurer of the Minnesota Chapter of The Society of Fire Protection Engineers (MNSFPE)

Summit Fire Consulting is pleased to announce that Mark Rivers has been elected to the position of Secretary/Treasurer of the Minnesota Chapter of The Society of Fire Protection Engineers (MNSFPE). Mark, along with three others from the local fire protection community, make up the four-person executive committee. In addition to those duties typical to a Secretary/Treasurer, Mark will be responsible for maintaining the Chapter’s new website. The MNSPFE organizes monthly meetings which educate the local fire protection community on different areas within the fire protection field. The international Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) was established in 1950 and has over 4,000 members in the United States and abroad. The Society was originally founded to advance the science and practice of fire protection engineering, to maintain a high ethical standard among its members and to foster fire protection engineering education.
