Daniel Picciano and Mark Rivers Become Licensed as Fire Protection Engineers

Summit Fire Consulting is pleased to announce that Daniel Picciano and Mark Rivers have successfully completed their Principles and Practice of Engineering examination and are now licensed as Professional Engineers (PE) in Fire Protection Engineering in the State of Minnesota. The Fire Protection Engineering licensing exam was first offered by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) at a national level in October of 1981a; and, since then, NCEES administers the PE Exam in fire protection annually. Upon successful completion of the PE Exam, professional licensure in the State of Minnesota is administered by the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience, and Interior Design (MN AELSLAGID). With the professional licensure of Daniel Picciano and Mark Rivers, Summit Fire Protection now employs five Fire Protection Engineers holding professional licensure in a total of eight states across the country.
