Mark Rivers Becomes a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS)

Summit Fire Consulting is pleased to announce that Mark Rivers has completed his CFPS examination and is now a Certified Fire Protection Specialist. The CFPS credential has been awarded jointly by the Certified Fire Protection Specialist Board and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) since 1971 to document competency and offer professional recognition for individuals involved in fire protection, fire safety, and fire prevention. Internationally recognized within the fire protection industry, CFPS professionals include risk managers, loss control specialists, fire officers, fire marshals, fire inspectors, safety managers, fire protection consultants, designers, code enforcers, loss prevention professionals, and building code officials.
