“Summit Fire Consulting was recommended to us by a colleague with the Opus Group and the local municipality. After the vetting process, they quickly became an intergral part of our design/build team. They were great listeners, responsive, cost effective and creative in their approach. Understanding and solving our problem of storing large quantities of IIIB liquids in a variety of containers was the only item on the agenda. They were definitely an asset to our team.”

Summit Fire Consulting

Keeping clients up to speed on building codes, fire codes and compliance issues.

It’s not easy to understand today’s building and fire codes, or to keep track of evolving rules and regulations. Summit Fire Consulting was created to handle these complex issues for clients such as building owners, architects, engineers, general contractors and developers.

These busy professionals count on us to understand the intricacies of building codes, fire codes, fire protection engineering, means of egress, hazardous materials, smoke management and more. We are experienced in virtually every type of project and code, including educational, government, military, health care, assembly, commercial, warehouse, industrial, residential, manufacturing, and historical.

The Summit Fire Consulting team is made up of professionals who have passion for the trade and have all the right credentials. We have more NICET Level IV designers on staff than anyone in the Upper Midwest, plus four Fire Protection Engineers (FPEs).

Our expertise lets our clients concentrate on what they do best…while we take care of things like:

  • Building and fire code consultation, interpretation and equivalencies
  • Fire protection system design guidance, including special hazards
  • Smoke management system design, inspection and testing
  • Fire detection, alarms and notification
  • Fire life safety performance-based design and analysis
  • Liaison between clients and fire code officials
  • Hazardous materials analysis

Clients count on us to keep them informed on the issues and to meet complex codes and deadlines, so they can concentrate on doing what they do best. If cutting through red tape and saving time are important to you, put our knowledge, experience, professionalism and team approach to work.
